ROHI Company Women-Led Banana Value Chain Project

At ADC Tanzania Ltd, we are proud to support the ROHI Company Women-Led Banana Value Chain Project, an initiative aimed at empowering women banana farmers in Mbeya, Tanzania. Funded by USADF with a $20,000 grant, this project focuses on reducing post-harvest losses, increasing market access, and improving financial sustainability for women-owned agribusinesses.

By implementing this project, ADC Tanzania Ltd is playing a key role in enhancing women’s economic empowerment, promoting agribusiness growth, and fostering sustainable value chains in Tanzania’s banana industry. Together, we are transforming smallholder farming into a thriving, women-led enterprise!

Healthy Seaweed

The Healthy Seaweed project, supported by ADC Tanzania Ltd and funded by USADF, empowers women seaweed farmers in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, by enhancing processing efficiency and market access. This initiative strengthens the seaweed value chain, promoting economic growth and sustainability in the blue economy.

Through this initiative, we are fostering a sustainable, competitive, and eco-friendly seaweed sector that supports economic growth and strengthens Tanzania’s blue economy.

JIFUNZE UTOKE is a program funded by the Africa Guarantee Fund through AFAWA, in partnership with Equity Bank Tanzania and ADC Tanzania. It aims to empower women-owned businesses (WSMEs) with training in areas like management, marketing, bookkeeping, and tax compliance. Graduates may receive tailored support to access loans from Equity Bank.
